Birmingham, Ala., AUGUST 25, 2021 // Pack Health today announced that the company has undergone and passed a System and Organizational Controls (SOC) 2 Type II examination. Pack Health has previously undergone a HITRUST Readiness Assessment prior to this SOC 2 Type II examination. “Industry-standard compliance initiatives have been a top priority for Pack Health. We manage highly sensitive patient data on our platform. Ensuring the protection of that data is paramount,” states Colin Durham, Pack Health’s Information Security Officer.

Pack Health’s patient engagement platform serves thousands of individuals; therefore, obtaining sensitive health-related information is necessary. With these ongoing security assessments, Pack Health aims to mitigate risks related to the security, availability, and confidentiality of patient information.

“Healthcare organizations are under pressure to comply with regulations which require the utmost care in handling patient data,” Durham continues. “Achieving this benchmark is a validation of our ongoing commitment to meet the data privacy needs of our members and partners.”
